Dr Karan Sahar

Dr Karan Sahar, DClinPsy, CPsychol, EuroPsy, is the founder and clinical lead of LivFull Psychology, a clinical psychology practice providing psychotherapy, psychological evaluations, parenting support, and supervision and consultation in English for people in Japan.

He holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of London (UK) and is registered with the UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC, registration PYL38998) and as a registered psychologist with Socialstyrelsen in Sweden. He is a Chartered member of the British Psychological Society, is listed on the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS), and holds the European Certificate in Psychology (EuroPsy/EFPA). He serves as Membership Secretary at the International Mental Health Professionals Japan.

The practice keeps psychology, psychological evaluation, medical diagnosis, and medication clearly separate. LivFull provides psychological evaluation, profiling, findings and recommendations; it does not provide medical diagnosis or medication services in Japan, and it is not an emergency service.
