Summary
At a glance

LivFull Psychology provides parenting support in English for parents in Japan whose children have behavioural or emotional-regulation needs — including ADHD- or autism-related needs where relevant.

Sessions focus on practical, psychologically informed strategies for routines, transitions, overwhelm, cooperation difficulties and family stress. Suitability can be discussed during the free consultation. Parenting support is not therapy for the child, not an evaluation, does not include medication advice, cannot guarantee behavioural outcomes, and is not a crisis service.

About this service

Raising a child with behavioural or emotional-regulation needs can be joyful and exhausting in equal measure — and doing it far from home, in another country, adds another layer. LivFull offers warm, practical, English-language support for parents, delivered online, so you can get psychologically informed help wherever you are in Japan.

Sessions coach you — the parent — in strategies you then use at home. Rather than focusing on what is "wrong", the work focuses on what helps: understanding why difficult moments happen, building consistent responses, and strengthening everyday routines and family life.

You do not need a formal diagnosis to enquire. Whether parenting support is suitable for your family — and how it connects to other services such as a psychological evaluation — can be discussed during the free consultation.
